The Story of Jay Kordich – The Juiceman
I first saw Jay Kordich 25 odd years ago when I was in the USA. He was seen there for years on TV in his infomercials shoving vegetables into his juicer and dancing around the stage like a mad man.
Jay played college football at USC and in 1949 he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers. That same year he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and basically given a death sentence.
After doing some research, Jay decided to see Dr. Max Gerson, who wrote a book on curing cancer with juices and raw food. He also got inspired by Norman Walker who wrote a number of books on juicing and was eating raw food most of his life.
As a result Jay began a regimen of dietary therapy that included 13 glasses of apple-carrot juice every day. The bladder cancer disappeared and his career as "The Juiceman" began. 27th May 2017, 66 years later, at age 93, he passed away peacefully in his sleep free of any disease.
According to his wife he literally had a smile on his face as he died. He was full of energy and spent his life teaching people about juicing till the day he died.
Medical skeptics who want to protect their expensive drug and treatments business say that there was no real "proof" that the Gerson Therapy cured him. However, the proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the juice. The body CAN and will heal itself if given the right ingredients and environment.
