Common Sense Health Part #13: Water fasting your way to good health . . .
Most people think that if they miss a meal or two they will starve to death. But fasting is a great way to help your body heal. It also prolongs life. As has been proven in laboratories with animals.
It’s stood the test of time and will continue to heal no matter what “miracle advances” the medical business makes. I have personally done 3 x 10 day water fasts in my 30s and 40s. As well as a 21 day water fast when I was 58.
With a long period of solid alcohol drinking in between. Before my last 21 day fast I felt a lump the size of a marble on the left hand side of my abdomen.
I also felt slight pain there from time to time.
After the fast the lump was completely gone,
as was the pain. I also personally know two
people that got great benefits from water
fasting. One did a 40 day water fast to heal a leaky gut and another one did a 60 day water fast for weight loss. (He was slightly obese)
However I would not recommend doing a fast of more than 2-3 days on your own at first. Unless you get some more expert guidance from people like Tyler Tollman who does supervised juice and water fasting retreats. The link to his website is below.

There are many other well documented cases of people healing themselves from all kinds of chronic
What a HOT body:JDay 18 of my 21 day water fast. I moved furniture, went on a 23 kilometre bike ride on day 11 and also had periods when I just had to lay in bed and rest, totally without energy. But my stomach lump disappeared and I felt better after.
Tyler Tolman holds regular workshops and retreats. I have been to his talks and he has a lot of great insight into how to stay healthy . . .
