Foreword

This book includes the creative work of 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students at New Era

International School. This is the 11th year that such a work has been published. The students’ work

in this book is based off of their own thoughts and opinions.

The assignments shown in this book were completed in an effort to show how the students have

improved and will continue to improve through the years at New Era International School. So many

of our students submitted quality poems and essays, and we struggled to select only a few to

showcase. We are thankful to be a part of your child’s journey in the English language and we hope

that you enjoy these short compositions.

We want to show our gratitude to all who worked on this book by submitting pieces, editing them,

and compiling them. We wish great success to all the parties involved as they continue their journey

of learning English.
