                      Bush Hill Park Golf Course is situated on part of what was formerly Old Park, a royal property pre-dating the Domesday survey
                      of 1086. Old Park Mansion, now Bush Hill Park’s clubhouse, dates back to c.1705. Our course is of similar historic interest,
                      our Iron age fort forms part of the 1st hole the 1st hole dating between 500 B.C. and 43 A.D. and is a scheduled monument,
                      recognised by Historic England as an area of considerable importance.
                       ‘On a fine Saturday afternoon in March 1895, Mrs. Aveling drove from the first tee to the sound of cheers from the crowd of
                      the hundred or so ladies and gentlemen present’. This was the beginning of Bush Hill Park Golf Club, according to a report in
                      Meyer’s Observer dated 22nd March 1895.
