Quality Control
All products
are subject to extensive testing procedures
We operate a quality control (QC) process, which is continually reviewed and approved. All products are thoroughly tested by our experienced QC engineers for quality, performance and compliance before being accepted to the range.
RoHS Testing
In order to comply with the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, all electrical and electronic equipment must be certified for limited, or zero, content of specified hazardous substances. To verify this, we use the latest in X-Ray Fluorescence technology to detect the chemical composition of the materials used.
EMC Testing
Electrical and electronic equipment must also comply with the European Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) directive, to ensure it does not exceed permitted levels of electromagnetic radiation. Sealey evaluate both the radiated and conducted emissions using a range of modern detection equipment to help keep the operator safe, and stop unwanted interference with other electrical equipment such as televisions and radios.
Axle Stand
Load Testing
We randomly select a vehicle support stand from each and every delivery, and put it through our own rigorous test procedure using a 50 tonne calibrated load cell, to ensure it is capable of supporting a load well in excess of the individual stated capacity.
