Trailer Winch Straps

Winch straps, cables, and ropes are available to fit most winches, loads, and applications. A complete selection of winch
products to meet every customer need and a variety of price points.
Selecting a winch strap, rope, or cable: NMMA, SAE, and BIA Standards require the minimum breaking strength of winch
cable, rope, strap, and hook be at least 1.5 times the rated straightline pull of the winch. For example, if a winch rope
has a breaking strength of 1,500 lbs., it can only be used on winches rated up to 1,000 lbs. All Attwood winch cables,
ropes, and straps are rated for the winch on which they can be installed. Winch ropes, strap, and cable should have a
minimum of four (4) complete wraps around the winch drum in the most extended position for launching or retrieving the
boat.

You can depend on Attwood winch straps. They’re easy to install and prevent tangling on winch drum. Built to be strong
and durable. UV-resistant webbing with a special, heavy-duty, forged steel, snap hook. The extra-long throat is designed
for easier attachment to bow eyes on boats. Two strap-end styles are available for easy, secure attachment to the winch
drum. Rated for winches up to 2,000 lbs.

Webbing: Polyester webbing is one of the finest web strap materials available. Polyester does not stretch and offers
excellent resistance to ultraviolet degradation from sunlight.
Strap-End Styles: Two styles available (1) Cut-End, and (2) Sewn-Loop End.
Hook: Heavy-duty, forged, zinc-plated steel snap hook. Spring-loaded closure for secure attachment. Extra-long throat
for easy attachment.
