Honoring a Legacy of Excellence
Over 75 guests gathered last December to celebrate Kevin Callanan's tenure as a member of the NVNA and Hospice Board of Directors by dedicating the
Kevin B. Callanan
Conference Room.
A former Chair of the Board, Kevin served for over 20 years. CEO Renee McInnes remarked, "In my role as CEO, I have seen Kevin offer counsel countless times
on complicated
issues, and the
one constant was the dignity and compassion he brought to the table every time."
Congratulations to Our Hometown Hero
NVNA and Hospice was recognized in Hometown Heroes in South Shore Home, Life & Style’s Summer 2020 issue. Bernadette Ward, VP of Clinical Operations at NVNA and Hospice, a Scituate native and mom of three, was featured for helping to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in 27 towns across the South Shore.
“At NVNA and Hospice, she leads a clinical team of nurses, therapists and aides who practice home care and utilize telehealth to keep vulnerable, elderly patients safe and out of the hospital. She has been working 24/7 to make sure
that her team understands the ever-changing CDC and Mass DPH guidelines, has access to personal protective equipment, and is encouraged, determined and calm during this unprecedented time.
Bernadette, NVNA and
Hospice CEO Renee McInnes, and the rest of the team are keeping patients and staff safe and slowing the spread of COVID-19. Anyone who knows Bernadette knows that she is approaching this challenge with guts, intelligence and skill. To learn more, visit nvna.org.”
