A Note from the Chairman

Dear Friends and Partners,

Somehow, we’re already halfway through 2021! For ASUS and many other
leading technology brands that fact heralds the arrival of Computex. This
year, it is a virtual event – spanning nearly the whole month of June. I’m
proud that, despite the significant challenges of the past year, ASUS is once
again showcasing a slew of exciting, innovative and even revolutionary
products.

On the cover of this issue, for example, we feature five all-new graphics
cards: ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX™ 3080 Ti, Strix GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and
®
3070 Ti; and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti. These bring the
power of NVIDIA’s Ampere GPUs to a wider audience, with a formidable mix
of high clock speeds, low temperatures and whisper-quiet noise levels.
We’ve also got the new ROG Gladius III series, a top-end gaming mouse
available in wireless or wired flavors that delivers revolutionary performance
with the help of its 19,000 dpi sensor and class-leading 1% deviation,
specially tuned to 26,000 dpi. With these specs and more, Gladius III
operates with near-zero latency and unrivaled precision. I like to think of it as
the ultimate sidearm for elite gamers.
And how do you fancy the first-ever ROG Strix networking device? Well,
let me introduce you to ROG Strix GS-AX5400, a WiFi 6 router designed for
gaming. It’s sharply styled and delivers speeds of up to 5400 Mbps, and can
be configured to prioritize data packets for gaming – virtually eliminating lag
when you play.

Cooling is also a focus of this issue, as we feature our extensive new range

refresh rate. It features a 32-inch backlit mini LED 4K panel with 1152-zone

ultra-vivid colors.

Finally, I mentioned both ROG Claymore II and ASUS ZenBeam Latte L1
in the previous edition of ASUS World, but both make an appearance in
this issue also. To recap, Claymore II is the first mechanical RGB gaming
keyboard to feature ROG RX Blue Optical mechanical switches, plus a
detachable number pad and wired or wireless modes, while ZenBeam Latte
L1 is a compact, fabric-covered projector that’s little bigger than coffee
mug – and yet able to throw a 120-inch, 720p image with 300 LED lumens of
brightness..
I often note that is the ASUS mission to create the most ubiquitous, intelligent,
heartfelt, and joyful smart life for everyone, but it bears repeating because
it is this outlook that drives everything we do. These ideas empower us to do
