It can be challenging to understand how others may be feeling. However, the more you practice using
empathy, the better you will get! There are so many important reasons to practice empathy:
1) When you understand how others are feeling you can help them. Helping others feels good and makes our friendships stronger!
2) People will want to be around you! When you can understand how someone is feeling you can be considerate of their feelings. People want to hang around considerate people and people they feel good with.
3) You feel happier! You will be able to share in the joys and other comfortable emotions of others! This could double your own happiness!
4) It feels good! Empathy helps connect you to other people and the world around you. Feeling connected helps your brain and your body feel good!
