Page 32 - Grit Up
P. 32
Making mistakes and facing challenges are part of being a kid (and even an adult)! It takes time and practice to learn new things. The most successful people in the world have faced challenges and fallen
down at times. Each time they fell down, they used their grit up to learn from their experience and get back up.
Use your grit up to help you through hard times and to make yourself a better you! When things don’t go as expected, use your grit up to get up and try again. Don’t avoid challenges, plan for them.
Over time, things that seemed hard/impossible will become easier.
Remember, a mistake is not a failure.
It’s an opportunity to learn. If you are afraid to try
something new due to the fear of failing, please talk to an adult you trust so they can help you work through your fears and help you to shift the way you are thinking. This will allow you
to not only succeed, but also grow. Good luck!
