Dr. Ram Prasad Upreti completed his medical school in 1987 from Nepal and post graduation degree
in Human Anatomy in 1992 from University of Glasgow, Scotland. He has received training and
attended seminars/conferences in Thailand, Bangladesh, UK, Denmark, Singapore, Egypt, and
Japan. He brings his immense experiences of working as a Chief of the top medical college in Nepal,
from where a big number of graduate physicians are currently working in the USA, Nepal, India, UK
and Australia. He has authored several books and journal articles, including delivery of lectures and
oral presentations in the international conferences. The research works of Dr. Upreti involves computer
reconstruction of the arteries, cephalo-fascial measurement, genetic susceptibility to helminthic
infections and so on. Dr. Upreti has been awarded with prestigious Gold Medal award as a university
faculty and a national Youth Award. With the passion in Clinical Anatomy and leadership role, Dr.
Upreti has been a great example to medical students.
