Flowers and Veil Notes:
Flower selections vary from region to region. In Seville (Sevilla), where richly-
scented orange trees abound, brides wear orange blossom wreaths or carry
generous bouquets to represent the promise and fulfillment of the orange Islay Sprigs in
tree. Orange blossoms symbolize happiness and fulfillment and can be seen
in the bouquet, decorations, and even in the bride's hair. Orange blossoms bouquet and lapel
are the flowers of choice for Spanish brides Mantilla Veil.
Brides in Andalusia prefer pink and white rose garlands, while Castillian
brides wear white flowers.
Instead of a bouquet, the bride might carry a rosary and bible. Symbolizing
