La Lomita Ranch
Originally, La Lomita ranch was 700 acres built and developed by the Salas Family from Spain in the mid-
1970s, bringing to San Luis Obispo a beautiful, full service Arabian Breeding facility.
In the mid-1990s the ranch was acquired by a property developer and subdivided into five parcels. The 160-
acre parcel with the equine facility was acquired from the developer in 1996. The remaining parcels were
later acquired by vineyards, giving La Lomita Ranch a beautiful and peaceful backdrop for the facility it is
today!
LOCATION:
La Lomita Ranch is located approximately 90 miles north of Santa Barbara, 35 miles south of Paso Robles by
Highway 101, and 15 miles east of Pismo Beach in the incredible Edna Valley Wine Country.
