Zoning and Permitted Uses

Sec. 106-4. - Division of city into zones; official zoning map.

In order to carry out the purposes and provisions of this chapter, the city is divided into ten zones
known as:
R-1 Single-family residential zone

R-2 Multiple-family dwelling zone

R-3 Multiple-family zone

RPD Residential planned development zone

C-1 Limited commercial zone

C-2 Commercial zone

SC Service commercial zone

M-1 Limited industrial zone

M-2 Light industrial zone

PD Precise development zone

The zones listed in subsection (a) of this section and the boundaries of such zones are shown upon
the official zoning map of the city, and the map and all the notations, references and other information
shown thereon shall be as much a part of this chapter as if the matters and information set forth by the
map were all fully described in this chapter.
