Armalex Toolbox – Just the job for insulaion professionals

The insulation firm Andreas Selle Isoliertechnik based in Betzendorf (Germany) has many years of experience in installing elastomeric insulation materials. René Selle tested the new Armaflex Toolbox and explains why it is just what insula- tors have been waiting for.
“Armacell now provides all the tools and aids needed to install foam materials professionally in an aluminium case. Although it is light, this case is extremely robust and thanks to the high-quality workmanship it certainly looks as if it can stand up to a great deal of wear and tear. The layout inside is very well-structured and practical. Now I no longer have to rummage around in various boxes or cases, everything has its own place. The inlays are nice and tight, so nothing can fall out. As for the tools, the blades of the three steel knives are outstanding and the well- shaped wooden handles fit the hand nicely. The compasses with pen- holder and protective caps are very practical, especially for drawing the
pieces for fitting covers directly onto the material. The case also con- tains a sharpening stone and a tool for re-sharpening the copper pipe ends which are used for fabricating fitting covers for branches and T-pieces. The only thing I’d leave out is the Gluemaster, because I don’t use a glue pump. But that’s a matter of taste. All in all, the Armaflex Toolbox gets top marks from me. It makes a really professional impres- sion.”
