B22-31, 34-37, 47-49, & 57. A total of 18
brass thimbles, 11 of them being of the sail- maker's type, with an open top (73 K 289, 73 K 297, 73 K 298, 73 K 220,73 K 331, 74 K 3, and 76 K 156;Sites F and G,various locations) (Fig. 16).
B32, 33 & 39. Three ornamental fine-linked chains, two being 0.56m long and form- ing a loop, while the third is 0.55m long and open ended (73 K 289 and 73 K 310; Site F, -14.6/-2.7 and -14.8/-1-4).
B42-46. Five carved brass objects, four of them about 0.125 m long, and the other about 0.11m long. They each have a hook at one end, and a slit around 0.007 m long a little below it, and give the appearance of being partly ornamental and partly useful (Fig. 17). No close parallels have yet been found for these objects, al- though it has been suggested that they might have been used for feeding a ribbon or draw- cord through the hem of a garment (73 K 298: Site F, -14.8/-1.4).
B5 1. A finely made brass ring, with a rectan- gular brass setting, within which is a grey filling; the stone is missing.

B52. A white bead; fabric uncertain, but possibly fine clay; 0.013 m tall and 0.014 m in dia- meter.
B53. Two hollow brass beads, about 0.008 m in diameter (74 K 69; Site F, -13.2/-6-5).
B54. A silver rim for the neck of a small glass bottle, part of which has also survived, to- gether with part of the cork. The rim is 0.042 m in diameter, and 0.007 m deep (74 K 1; Site F, -139-3.7).
B58. A chased silver ring, 0.024 m in diameter (76 K 48; Site G, -7.9/-1.4).
