Jugs with reeded or corded necks
These jugs belong to the same group as the grey-white, reeded or corded neck jugs (p. 105 above). They possibly originate from Raren and closely resemble von Bock (1971: No. 367) and Hellebrandt (1977: Figs 45 and 49).

The fragment has pari of the Arms of England with the insignia of the Most Noble Order of the Garter: Honi soil qui mol y pense, (-Qill.MAL.Y.P-) together with the lions passant and f1eur-<le-lis. This is probably the Royal Standard of Elizabeth I, the last of the Tudor Sovereigns, for the Royal Arms changed, on her death in 1603, 10 the House of Stewart.
Two fragments with diamond-shaped medallion with a flower and shrub, possibly a marigold.
