In-House Waterjet Cutting

We have taken some positive steps in order to offer a service which caters for your bespoke marking
needs. Whether you need new markings for a playground or logos for outside your business we are happy
to work with you to create a design which suits your needs at a viable cost. All bespoke items are cut
on our WaterJet machine, which cuts to within a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm giving you the knowledge that,
once we have sent you the proof drawing, your marking will arrive looking exactly as you expected.

Our WaterJet machine is something that we are very proud of, it is a fantastic asset for both us and Waterjet
our customers. Being able to cut within the tolerances that we can gives us an almost limitless ability to
produce new and innovative markings; we have even recently branched in to 3D effect images. It has
allowed us to expand our business rapidly while keeping our lead times to an absolute minimum. Cutting
markings by hand, as most companies do, takes much longer and produces an inferior product of a
lesser quality. Please note that bespoke markings may have longer lead times due to the extra time spent
on the drawing and proofing process prior to actually cutting the material.
Another advantage to the way our products are now cut is in the installation. Wherever possible our
markings have only one layer of thermoplastic. For example numbers and letters will always be inlaid
in to snake body sections which not only leads to less chance of installation mistakes but also stops the
thermoplastic from flowing, giving the smaller details much more definition and a neater finish.
The possibilities don’t stop with thermoplastic either. WaterJet cutting has fast become a popular method
of precisely manufacturing products in the engineering industry due to the lack of heat created. Unstable
materials ranging from ceramics through to steel all the way to titanium can be accurately cut without
heat altering the properties of the material; something which is vital at the elite end of the fabrication
                                             market.
If you have any questions about our machining possibilities, the order process itself or anything else then
please feel free to contact one of the team.
