Our Elementary program has been acknowledged as one
of the top-tier schools in Indonesia and has received grade
A accreditation from the Education and Culture Ministry in
2018. Although GMS has been celebrated for its academic
achievements, we genuinely believe that education is more
than curriculum plans.
Montessori offers an exciting idea for guiding our Elementary
education, “Our aim therefore is not merely to make the child
understands, and still less to force him to memorize, but so to
touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his innermost core”
(To Educate the Human Potential, p.11).

With this in mind, in GMS, we designed our program to not only
accommodate the holistic stages of development of a whole child,
but also rekindle children’s excitement in learning and exploring
the world. Although the curriculum is broad, all the subjects are
interwoven to inspire and provide clearer perspective about the
world and things around them.

All learning activities are conducted under Montessori

provide varied after-school club activities to cater young
children’s expansion of interest.
