ANOTHER NEW DAY
A young lady come to see me for a cheap price.
She looked and inspected and found me nice.
Seeing beyond my mistakes,
she liked me a lot.
I sensed an opportunity to have another shot.
I even loaded the trailer with ease.
Eager to show I would try to please.
Of course it helped that the young lady walked along,
Making it clear she would tolerate no wrong.
I had found a home where I would choose to obey, and
surprisingly I found there was no better way.
If I was to survive and find a new life,
I had better listen and give up strife.
