           • Then grab your medium-size bowl ( this step is optional ) and soak your chopped plantains with 1 cup vinegar and • 1 tbsp brown sugar.

two limes. If you have minced garlic, I will put some as well, at least 1 tbsp. This adds a nice flavor to your plantains • 1/2 tbsp Better Than Bouillon beef base. ( optional )

when you cook them. If you plan on doing this step, let them soak for at least 30 minutes and pat dry when you’re • 1 tbsp Chef Bruja everything seasoning.

           • Once your oil is hot, take your cut plantains and add to your oil till they get yellow all over. This will take about 3

minutes for each one. You don’t want to over-fry because we will be adding them back into the oil. After they’re

done, remove and let them cool down for 3 minutes. If you let them sit for too long, they may break when you put Ing edients

           • Do this to all of them, then get your thongs and place them back in the oil for 2-3 minutes till they’re golden like in • One large Roma tomato. ( Or 1 - 2 small )
