At the core of Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center (OBMC) is the mission of guiding the intellectual, spiritual, and social growth of young men and women. Dr. Maria Montessori believed education to be a revolutionary tool for inner transformation and social change, and so does the OBMC community.
As partners in progress, we take seriously our duty of being part of your children’s growth and pursue it with the utmost care. In this OBMC Parent & Student Handbook, you will find the rules and procedures necessary to carry out our shared task of ensuring the formation of independent, responsible, and discerning young citizens of the country. In thoroughly reading and standing by the contents of this Handbook, you will have taken the first step to ensure a fruitful year ahead.
Guided by the humanitarian goal of Operation Brotherhood and Dr. Montessori’s belief in a child’s inner teacher, OBMC will always take the necessary steps toward the child’s refinement of character. Always, these steps will be out of care and concern for the child’s well- being and future. They are, after all, the future of humanity.
