ACADEMIC POLICIES
3
All students are required to comply with the academic regulations set by the school. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with these guidelines and regulations. Ignorance of the rules is not a basis for exemption.
Students must fulfill the academic requirements: attendance, participation, subject requirements (written and practical), and a passing grade to be eligible for promotion to the next level.
3.1 Assessment and Examinations
The quarterly or semestral exam is a major criterion of the grade. This is conducted at the end of each quarter or semestral term for each academic subject area from Advanced Casa to High School.
• The school adheres to the rule “no permit, no exam.”
• The school does not schedule or allow early exam dates.
• Quarter examinations will be conducted following the time frame set by the subject teacher.
• Live or real-time written work and homework are given regularly to measure the attainment of the objectives of the grading.
• Students who are tardy on examination day will be allowed to take the test, but they must finish within the given time frame. No extension of time will be given to tardy students.
