New Hire First Steps
The employee will begin by going to www.tinyurl.com/FRCNewHire and selecting the correct restaurant location
in which they will be working . They will then complete basic personal information that will populate the Online Tax
Credit Survey .
I-9 Section 1:
After completing the online Tax Credit Survey, the employee will complete Section1 of the Form I-9 . The employee
information section will automatically populate . Instructions are provided on Section 1 by clicking on “I-9 Instructions” .
Employees must be provided with the list of acceptable documents, which can be printed off of FOXCentral or
found in the I-9 instructions link while the employee is in the online form . A visual of this list can be found on page
15 of the tool kit .
Employees must choose one of the following citizenship/immigration statuses:
1 . A citizen of the United States .
2 . A noncitizen national of the United States: Individuals born in America Somoa, certain former citizens of
the former Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and certain children of noncitizen nationals born abroad .
3 . A lawful permanent resident: Any individual who is not a U .S . citizen and who resides in the U .S .
under legally recognized and lawfully recorded permanent residence as an immigrant . The term “lawful
permanent resident” includes conditional residents . If the individual checked this box in section 1, his/her
alien number must be included .
4 . An alien authorized to work: An individual who is not a citizen or national of the United States or a lawful
permanent resident, but is authorized to work in the United States .

I-9 Section 2:
This section must be completed by the GM or the EC within 3 business days by logging on to I-9 Express . The
employee will need to provide his/her choice of either:
