This unit will introduce students to key ideas they have not

encountered before like Pascal’s Triangle. It will also keep them in
touch with their Junior Cert skills and help them improve their basics

and understanding in Algebra. It will develop their problem solving

skills through working on various puzzles. This will help them be
more comfortable with the Project Maths Syllabus. Topics covered

will include: Factorising, Algebraic Fractions, Long Division,

Simultaneous Equations in two and three variables, Quadratic
Equations, The Factor Theorem, Surd Equations, Inequalities,

Modulus Inequalities and Problem Solving Using Algebra.
