Using a decision-making matrix
The Eisenhower matrix offers coaches a way of prioritizing and making judgements psychologically about what they need to do, what they need to plan and prepare for, items they can delegate to others including leadership groups, assistants and managers, and finally what they need to eliminate from their attentional focus.
The objective is to manage time and energy better and to keep “the main event the main event”.
Spend some time reflecting on what the important and the urgent matters are for you and your athletes.
