iFLY Indoor Skydiving Park
Booth Western Art Museum
In this deeply rooted STEM-based afternoon, students will be given a presentation on
wind tunnels, fluids and solids, drag and gravity, acceleration and terminal velocity,
and more. Following this presentation, students will carry out a laboratory
experiment involving parachutes and will hone their skills in record keeping and
data, and will be able to share their findings. Finally, each student will have the
opportunity to truly “experience” their learning, as they are each able to skydive in
the indoor wind tunnel. This stop is something your students will talk about all year
long!
