Handicraft School Embroidery well-being

and Handicraft coziness
This academic project was placed School
in the historic center of Novo nature
Hamburgo, city located in the
south of Brazil. The idea was to
create a school with embroidery,
weaving and felting workshops,
with work to be offered to needy
communities.

The concept is to create an en-
vironment providing exchange
of knowledge, well-being and
warmth with the use of materials
such as wood and glass. These
materials reflect the importance
to visualize and connect with na-
ture.

The ground floor plan contains
the administrative sector of the
school and has access through the
cafeteria. In the entrance of this
floor is also located a small shop
intended to sell and promote the
work of the students.
