This car has an automatic drive so the driver does not

select any of the gears, this is done automatically. The
Jaguar XF has six forward gears and it is the engine

management system that selects which gear is in

engaged.

The Jaguar XF shown in the photo has a 3 Litre engine

and the acceleration is very good. Which means it

goes woof when you press the accelerator down to
the floor boards. It is a remarkably smooth car when

travelling at 120 kilometres per hour.

Safety is a very important consideration in the design
of this car as it contains several air bags which inflate

in the event of a collision to protect the driver and
passengers from serious injury.
