As a Logistic coordinator, being organized is always a priority. It’s my job to keep where we’re shooting that day running smoothly-whether it’s on location or in studio. Because if the Logistics team is in chaos so is the rest of the shoot!
In this day and age we have so many products to get organized it’s a little overwhelming.
However one of the best inventions of the modern age of organizing has to be the QR coded labeling system. There are so many out there it can be hard to choose. I found an easy yet functional company that uses the QR code labels to help get anyone anywhere get organized fast and effectively.

I started using this product for my personal storage and loved it so much I now use it in my logistical work with Synergy Design Firm.
tip: Be prepared to make a mess to organize a mess. Just get it all out and organize the way that works best for you and your business. This app allows us to be as detailed as we need to be so we’re able to locate boxes quickly.
You’ll need boxes to attach the labels to, and really, any container will work. I bought the black and yellow totes from Home Depot. Here at Synergy we choose to buy all the totes from one location. If you buy different ones here and there they don’t always match or stack well. We have a multitude of matching sizes for everything from our props, costumes, lighting gear, medical boxes, and even food supply boxes.
