Drinks

The best / most affordable way is to bring your own drinks. However, if you don’t want the hassle and
don’t have enough space in the car we can easily order drinks from Marineland to be ready and
waiting on ice when you arrive. If you are interested in this option please request an up to date
drinks pricelist from us.

The drinks through Marineland are done on a sale and return basis, so would either pay for all the
drinks you ordered in cash on arrival (or you can do bank transfer in advance), and get a cash refund
if/of all the unopened beverages at the end of the trip less a 15% handling charge.

Ice

You can either bring your own ice or we can order this for you at Marineland.
Ice costs $5 per block. It is cheaper to buy in Harare but ice is always a hassel to transport so most
people opt to have it loaded and pay for it at Marineland. We find Marineland to be very accurate in
their ice estimates, so if you are not sure on how much ice you would like please let us know the
number of people who will be on board and we can get a recommendation for you.

National Park Fees

Lake Usage and Fishing fees are payable to the National Parks Officers in cash before departure – this
is a totally separate issue and paid independently. The houseboat Captain will take you to the National
Parks Officer in Marineland so you can make payment before setting off. (There are National Parks
Officers in all the harbours).

Transfers

We can organize airport and flight transfers. Please enquire about prices and availability if you need
this.

Fishing

If you would like to fish, you can either bring your own fishing rods, tackle and bait or we can hire
fishing rods for you from Marinealnd at $5 per night of hire (there is a refundable $50 deposit payable
to ensure return of the fishing rod).

Transport
Costs to add on will obviously be your transport to get up to Kariba. We can organize airport
transfers, flights and road transfers. Please enquire for prices and availability if you need any of these
