3 Words & 3 Different Meanings!
Monogamous Faithful Commitment
Women believe a man that continues to cheat on his wife can’t possibly love her. I say that this is not the case at all. I’ve heard women say, “he wasn’t committed to me or his family if he was able to go and sleep with that other woman.” Women tend to give the same definition to these three totally different words...
Monogamous: it is an adjective and it means: the condition or practice of exclusively having sex with a single mate during a period of time
Faithful: it is an adjective and it means: Adher- ing firmly and devotedly, Worthy of trust or be- lief; reliable a man can be one hundred percent “faithful” to you proving that he will never turn his back on you and be there for you in your time of need. By no means does “faithful” mean the same as monogamous. This same man could have slept with countless women over that 10 year time span and never develop one serious emotional connection. A man can truly only be there for sex and the occasional dinner and/or movie. The man’s primary reason for trying to conceal his actions is due to his deep commit- ment to his wife and family.
Commitment: it is a verb and it means: to bind or obligate, as by pledge or assurance; pledge: to commit oneself to a promise; to be committed to a course of action.
A man can totally commit to his wife and fami- ly. He will do anything to protect them and keep them out of harm’s way. He is completely vested in his happy home and will go to great lengths not to allow anything to jeopardize it. So he will choose the option to conceal and protect. Con- ceal the commitment does not mean monoga- mous!
