YNV by Toriano is about the “It Girl” and soon, the “It Guy”. The brand products are inclusive of women’s ap- parel, women’s fragrance, and soon men’s apparel and fragrance. The physical line is due to launch in No- vember 2019, hopefully by her birthday, November 14. Up until the date, she will be hosting random pop-up events and will choose a special woman, to receive a full makeover. The chosen woman will be invited to walk in the empowerment infused YNV Fashion Show 2019, for it’s big launch.
In the spirit of entertainment, Tori Cage has partic- ipated in numerous productions, inclusive of movies, “The Great Altar” (2013), “Texas Voodoo Zombies” (2016), “Better Now” (Web Series Coming Soon). She’s also appeared on TLC Series, “Little Women: Dallas”, Season 2- Indecent Proposal. Her son, D’Quan Cage (singer-songwriter and dancer) is the fiancé of Little Woman, Caylea Woodbury. Recently, she’s been work- ing on a project, to play the lead detective on a segment of the new upcoming film, titled “Hood Pranks”. Poli- tics have since come into play, where she’s been made aware the segment was deleted, as the production team is looking for a more “A-List” actor. Her feelings: “The executive team could have been more professional and honest in how the information was communicated, as I’ve been promoting the film and preparing. It’s not been ideal”. Full of zeal, this does not discourage her, but rather drives and strengthens her for the greater opportunities.
Answers from Tori Cage
Can you share a bit of your background? How’d you get started?
I’m originally from New Orleans, the 9th ward. My mom was a strict stern mother and one you didn’t play with. She raised seven kids on her own. Seeing her struggle and still be strong enough, to not let us see her struggle, was most admirable. Early on, I vowed that if the opportunity ever presented itself for me to leave New Orleans, there’d be two places I’d want to be. Those were Atlanta, Georgia or Los Angeles, Cal- ifornia. Needless to say, I moved to LA to pursue my career in music.
Mission: To inspire empower and uplift, with great affinity for women and us working together, to build each other up. Together, we can move mountains.
