our society saddens me that it is okay for a man to be promiscuous, and he gets a high-five, however in the mind of most men a woman who’s had multiple re- lationships trying to find the right one is viewed as a “SLUT!”
I personally do not believe in the labels slut, whore, thot or hoe when it comes to women. Some ladies are just more free with their sexuality than others. Why is that so wrong for a woman to do what she wants with her body, and with whomever she likes? We are all sex- ual creatures and women want sex far more than the fairytale image men like to keep in their minds. When it comes to acknowledging just how much women lust, we’ve passed the point of no return. Yet acknowledging that women are as horny as men (if not hornier) isn’t enough to guarantee equality. Women have to lie and conceal their past to new potential mates in hopes of avoiding being labeled. God forbid if it was ever leaked to men that all women over 25yrs of age has a dating past and it increases as she ages. It could ruin his make believe world and have him no longer driving to the ends of rainbows trying to find pots of gold and it could possibly make his fragile head explode.
Most women have to pretend to be Virgin Mary for the new guy, and conceal the things in her past she knows he could not handle. The average woman is not in the public eye like a celebrity, and she can pick and
choose what she wants her new lover to know vs. what she needs to conceal to give him peace of mind. Why does a woman have to feel forced to conceal the truth from men? Pretending to be a nun does not change the truth about her past, and her sex drive.
I am left wondering can men really handle the truth about a woman’s sexual past? Most men CANNOT!But if wom- en are emotional and men are logical creatures the denial of a woman’s sexuality being comparable to a mans and resorting to labeling and name calling is the most illog- ical mess I have ever heard! I am trying to give you men more credit than what you deserve for you holding on to this double standard by trying to find some type of log- ical explanation. Let’s try to figure out what the possible benefit for men to make it a negative social standard if a woman acts on her sexual desires... What is the pos- sible gain or salvage? I believe the term and labels came about as an attempt to discourage women who desired to be married, or preventing a committed woman from straying away from her marriage. Men seem incapable of accepting that a woman had sexual needs before she met him just as a man does.
Men need to wake up and understand that all women have more partners than you can handle on her resume. The next chick you slide up in over the age of 30 has had just as much sex as Kim K has if not more. Like it or not... Face it men the women from your moms, to your sisters to eventually your daughters, have/are/will be having sex. It’s a God Given desire for women to have a sex drive just like men in order to keep our species on this Earth. Kim K is left in the open on TMZ to be judged by society for being an average woman, and dating successful men. Making a sex tape with her then boyfriend does not make her any different because it was recorded. Since when does having sex with your boyfriend, and making a private vid- eo make you a slut?
When researching I found men are often thought of first when you mention cheating in a relationship, but it seems that women are reversing that trend! Women have become more financially independent, social stigmas have been lifted, and attitudes about women engaging in sex are changing. Why should women continue to hide their sexuality, and pretend to be a virgin every time she meets a man in fear of judgment from him with the labels? We live in a society where a couple can be openly gay, and adopt children as well as get married that is pure honesty if you ask me. Just accept it fellas this is a new day, and a new age you can’t handle the truth stop living in denial and wake your ass UP TODAY!
