Abaco is an island that is

located in the northwestern

area of The Bahamas. The

capital of Abaco is Marsh

Harbour (can you locate it on

the map?) Many islands and

cays make up Abaco. The two

main islands are Great Abaco

and Little Abaco.

You will find two airports –

one in the capital city and the

other in Treasure Cay. There

are also docks for you to roll

your boat into, like in Sandy

Point.

If you ever go to Abaco, be

sure to catch a ferry to some

of the cays like Green Turtle

Cay, Man-O-War Cay and
Walker’s Cay.
