GRAMMY CONSIDERATION “HARRY BELAFONTE - BEST SONG FOR
SOCIAL CHANGE”
I co-wrote, produced, and arranged a song titled
“Hope” that promotes qualities such as
understanding, peacebuilding, empathy, and
positivity. The song is currently under Grammy
consideration in the Best Song for Social Change
category. The Harry Belafonte Best Song for
Social Change Award is a CEO’s Merit Award
established by the Recording Academy’s
National Trustees in 2022. It honors songwriters
of message- driven music that addresses the
social issues of our time and demonstrates the
power to inspire positive global impact.
I had the pleasure of working on this project with two talented
writers: The Real Wednesday (the main artist and vocalist on the
song) and Katherine Lynn Nemeth, a multi-award-winning
singer-songwriter who recently won the 2025 ICMA and ISSA
Awards.
The entire production team is based in Los Angeles and includes
internationally renowned mixing engineer Stefano Bonzi and 21-
time Grammy Award–winning mastering engineer Howie
Weinberg.
