“MAKE IT OUT ALIVE” was written as a
reflection on that time—and honestly, on
the world at large. Unbeknownst to most, I
have a degree in Sociology, which I
pursued after my trip to Cambodia, and
I’m hyper-aware of how society and the
industries that “make the world go ‘round”
operate. That song was me voicing my
frustration with both the music industry
and society as a whole – writing the song
was very empowering and cathartic all at
the same time.
“HIGH,” on the other hand, was written
for a friend and wasn’t originally meant to
be released. But when I shared it with her
—and saw how much she, and others,
connected with it—I realized it had a life of
its own. It’s got a strong message and an
uplifting beat, and I released it hoping that
anyone going through depression, anxiety,
or sadness could listen to it and maybe, POZE MAGAZINE With your latest single,
even just for a couple of minutes, feel a “In Another Life,” kicking off 2025, what

music? Is there a particular theme or

MEGAN NADIN Fans, friends and
listeners can expect to hear and see sides
of me that I’ve discovered and continue to

as an Artist and person. When I first
started sharing the songs I wrote, I had no
clue what I was doing… didn't even play an
instrument! Hence the One String Woner
Project! (If you look it up you’ll see what i
mean - Ha!)
This new music is coming from a place of
exploration and curiosity of what I can
really do as a Singer, Songwriter, and
Producer - not just musically, but also
creatively. I am now completely
independent, allowing me to truly find my
voice and express myself the way that
feels GOOD to me.
Although the vocal and production style
may be different from my first few singles
and Album “This Was Then” – one thing
remains the same – It’s all authentic to
how I’m feeling, things I’ve experienced or
seen, and where I was at when I wrote it.
It’s all authentic to ME and I just pray it
ALL finds its way to whom it’s meant to
and makes them feel SOMETHING
