Kysionia Daye was raised in
Durham, NC, the "Bull
City." Her inspiration and
admiration to pursue a career

in the arts is due to enjoying
the essence of performing.
Kysionia also gained the
interest of dance from her
uncle, Otis Daye (former Alvin
Ailey Dancer), and pursued
studies in ballet, jazz, modern,
and hip-hop dance during

much of her childhood into her
adult years. As an aspiring
entertainer since the age of 7.

Kysionia's passion for acting in
front of the camera soon led
her to express the pursuit of
the performing arts as well as
modeling. She studied acting
and performing at North
Carolina Central University in

Durham, NC, and New York
Film Academy in Los Angeles,
CA; also, additional acting
workshops with Actress Tasha
Smith and Erica Hart of ABC
Primetime in Washington DC.
