Peter Corry Productions, like many businesses was looking at a full diary for
2020 and like many, saw the whole
years activities cancelled in the space of a few weeks. At the start of one of the busiest years ever, the last 6 months has been a huge step change for the arts, culture and events industries. Still in a period of
uncertainty with no clear end in sight, how have Peter and his company been navigating the recent times?
There has been a lot of soul searching and then getting on what they do best, creating and mentoring and advocating for the sector. Peter has been busy with the Belfast School of Performing Arts (BSPA) for whom he is Artistic Director. With over 600 pupils,
the last 6 months have seen more zoom lessons than he can count delivered by the dedicated team of teachers and support staff along with 2 charity video’s successfully delivered by the BSPA students for worthwhile causes. BSPA have also been busy with a new project entitled the ‘Sunday Sessions’ bringing in industry professionals such as the current
