St George’s Market
(May Street entrance)
It is great to be back in this unique Victorian building. I have really missed the St. George’s Market atmosphere and all the friendly characters and market traders
with their amazing variety of shopping possibilities. Check out Jeff’s Belfast Times stall and his humorous ‘Norn Iron’ designs! (BTW clean loos are available, always a bonus!)

I spied a tabletop air hockey game for £10.00!

Castle Court Shopping Centre
I was about to walk past local chain Del Piero in Castlecourt. Suddenly I became aware of a colourful line up of icecreams. Idon’tnormallycrave
ice cream in November nor as a shopping pick me up, but I asked the friendly girls at the counter what the most popular flavour was and in unison they answered, “Nutella”! What could I do but order one? It was gorgeous! Be warned, it will put you in the mood for a holiday or at least make you feel like you are on one until the last spoonful!
House of Fraser, Victoria Square
This luxurious cafe opened in December 2019, but many of you, like me, may not have had a chance to visit this cool spot. I had a great Americano takeaway (local Root and Branch blend) £2.80, but I am really looking forward to returning for an energising breakfast or leisurely lunch.

To enjoy a pre-Christmas day out in Belfast on a shoestring budget of £20. I accepted the challenge and they wished me good luck.
But was this a mission impossible?
