July 19: “Friday Fest” at the Van Wezel Enjoy an evening on the bay front and some free live music at the 18th annual summer music fest. July 29: The Jazz Club of Sarasota summer concert series continues at the Florida Studio Theatre Court Cabaret with the Jeremy Carter Quartet. Jazz Club members $35; non mem- bers $39. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Court Cabaret Room at FST located at First St and Cocoanut Ave, Sarasota, FL.

Everybody in a restaurant works hard to create an enjoyable experience for the guests. Often, the chef, servers, bartenders and managers are known to the guests by name. There’s a position back in the heart of the house that we could never do without. Some of the hardest working people you’ll ever meet make our plates, glasses and silver clean and sanitary at each shift.
