Here at Publications, we oversee two main
projects — ArtJam, our triannual periodical
which covers internal and external art-related
events and Essentia, the annual CAC guidebook
for freshmen (the book in your hands now!).

Passionate about what we do, each publication
is thoughtfully written, meticulously edited and
produced with beautiful original illustrations
by our dedicated team. Thus, whether it’s
conceptualizing and vetting content for
Essentia, or writing reviews for musicals,
productions, and exhibitions; as well as
conducting behind-the-scenes interviews with
show cast and crew, you will be given the
chance to curate high-quality creative content
in a nurturing environment!

Now that we have (hopefully!) dispelled
your doubts through this year’s Essentia, we
encourage you to join us on our upcoming
