“Whatever.” My sister picked up one of her dolls. “I
think that they need better ears. I can understand mom
just fine, and I’m a little kid!”
I laughed at her ferocity. “Maybe you and I just have
special hearing powers then.” I looked down at her once
more, and then continued helping her gather her toys.
