As part of a multidisciplinary team, California Correctional Health Care Services’ dietary
professionals take the lead on important dietary initiatives in each of the California Department of
Corrections and Rehabilitation’s 35 correctional institutions throughout California. Clinical work for
these professionals includes nutritional education and assessments, interpreting prescription diets,
planning therapeutic diets, monitoring and documenting nutrition goals, and meal preparation.

Registered Dietitians
$61,524 - $78,504 annual salary

Registered Dietitians work throughout California, We offer a competitive
engaging with patients to plan nutrition interventions, benefits package,
prescribing special diets, providing ongoing training to including:
dietary staff on food safety, and conducting monthly
kitchen sanitation inspections.
