Sometimes we think we can mind read. We think we know that other people are thinking badly of us.
Ed thinks his friends are laughing at him. He feels really sad. He can’t actually hear what they are talking about - but he can see them laughing. Ed has fallen into a Thinking Trap!
Is there a simple explanation for what is actually going on?
