Your brain is a maze of electrical circuits - like a computer!
Have you heard of neurons?
These are spindly brain cells that pass electrical signals to each other and send messages to the rest of your body.
There are about 100 BILLION neurons in the brain.
Can you tickle yourself? Give it a go..... The answer is probably not!
The reason for this is that your brain is telling your hands what to do – so it can’t be surprised because it knows what is about to happen!
Linking neurons
The first time you try do something – neurons will start connecting and making a link.
This link won’t be very strong to start off with - but the more you practise the stronger that link becomes and the better you get!
Set your brain a challenge!!
Try doing things with the opposite hand to normal...
Switch the hand you Switch hands and Switch hands and hold a spoon with. write down your name. brush your teeth.
