We are pleased to quote the following newly redesigned Model DC 950, (950,000 BTU/HR)
Prepiped and Prewired “Mini” DIRECT CONTACT WATER HEATER, with Integral 500
gallon hot water storage tank and delivery pump system, to be installed by the purchaser.
This system is designed on the basis of the information supplied to us by your plant to handle
the following approximate quantities and temperatures and produce the stated results.

Hot Water ------------------------------------------- 1,200 GPH (20 GPM @ 140 Deg. F.)
Cold Water ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 50 Deg. F.
Either Natural Gas (1,000 BTU/Cu Ft.) -------------------------------- 1 psig @ 950 Cu. Ft./Hr.
or Vaporized Propane (92,000 BTU/Gallon) ------------------------------- 10.5 Gal/Hr.

TEMPERATURE RISE GUARANTEE:
We guarantee that this system of water heating will raise the temperature of 20 GPM of
incoming fresh water from 50 Deg. F. to 140 Deg. F.

ESTIMATED ANNUAL VALUE OF HEAT:
Fuel savings are based on the increase in hot water heating efficiency incurred with the Ludell
"Mini" heater. For your application, a 29% decrease in the hot water heating portion of your
fuel bill is projected as compared to a conventional gas-fired water heater or boiler operating at
70% efficiency.

WARRANTY:
Ludell warrants the fabricated stainless steel shell of the water heater for three (3) years, from
date of shipment. All sub-vendor components, burner, blower, pump, and controls are
warranted for one (1) year, maximum. The seller's obligation being limited to repairing or
replacement of parts only with a similar part f.o.b. seller's plant. Please note that customer
supplied water chemistry may adversely affect the equipment materials of construction. If the
water supply is aggressive, acidic or high in chlorides a higher-grade stainless steel alloy must
be utilized. Contact Ludell for a quote revision if your supply water chemistry is of poor
quality.
