Parallel: We Shall Live in His Sight
MATTHEW MARK LUKE JOHN
- Jericho -
20:29-34 10:46-52 18:35-19:27 11:16
20:28 10:45 35.¶ And it came to pass, 11:16
that as he was come
nigh unto Jericho, a cer-
tain blind man sat by
the way side begging:
20:28 10:45 36. And hearing the 11:16
multitude pass by, he
asked what it meant.
20:28 10:45 37. And they told him 11:16
that Jesus of Nazareth
passeth by.
20:28 10:45 38. And he cried, say- 11:16
ing, Jesus, thou Son of
David, have mercy on
me.
20:28 10:45 39. And they which 11:16
went before rebuked
him, that he should hold
his peace: but he cried
so much the more,
Thou Son of David,
have mercy on me.
20:28 10:45 40. And Jesus stood, 11:16
and commanded him to
be brought unto him:
and when he was come
near, he asked him,
20:28 10:45 41. Saying, What wilt 11:16
thou that I should do
unto thee? And he said,
Lord, that I may receive
my sight.
20:28 10:45 42. And Jesus said unto 11:16
him, Receive thy sight:
thy faith hath saved
thee.
20:28 10:45 43. And immediately he 11:16
received his sight, and
followed him, glorify-
ing God: and all the
people, when they saw
it, gave praise unto God.
