ROI+ SERVICE BULLETIN 10-26-2016 Credit Hold on Incomplete Requests
PROBLEM:
A Credit Hold flag does not display in the Results List for a Logged or Incomplete request, even though the same Requestor already has other requests on Credit Hold.
DETAILS:
Currently, when you log a new request from a Requestor who has items already on Credit Hold, a Credit Hold alert displays in red letters on the Log New Request screen. If you choose not to complete the new request, it shows as Logged or Incomplete when you return to the Results List. However, it does not show a Credit Hold flag (a red āCā in the Request Status column).
If you were to receive a question from the Requestor about this Logged or Incomplete request, you would search for it and find it in the Results List. However, without a Credit Hold flag being attached to it, you would not know that you were speaking with a Requestor who already has one or more prior requests on Credit Hold.
NEW SOLUTION:
When you log a new request from a Requestor who already has other items on Credit Hold AND you do not complete the request, a Credit Hold flag (a red āCā in the Request Status column) will be attached to this Logged or Incomplete request.
This change is intended to alert you that you have a Logged or Incomplete request belonging to a Requestor with one or more completed items on Credit Hold.
At the time that you complete the request, the Credit Hold flag will be removed from this specific request.
Please note that this change is not retroactive. The Credit Hold status of older Logged or Incomplete requests will not be affected by this change.
