ROI+ SERVICE BULLETIN 02-22-2017 Recent Microsoft IE Update Issue
  PROBLEM:
Microsoft recently issued a critical update to Internet Explorer. This update has resulted in slow performance speeds for some Internet Explorer users who are using Adobe Acrobat DC to open PDF files within the Internet Explorer browser. This issue affects not just clients in our ROI+ community, but users in all types of settings who use Adobe Acrobat DC to open PDFs while in Internet Explorer. To date, we have been able to identify Internet Explorer 11 and Adobe Acrobat DC as problematic versions, but other versions of Internet Explorer may be problematic as well.
DETAILS:
Those ROI+ clients that are using both Internet Explorer 11 and Adobe Acrobat DC might experience delays in opening PDF files inside ROI+ and also in returning to other functions within ROI+ after having viewed PDFs with the aforementioned software. It appears that the browser performance is slowed, meaning that you will experience delays in any tasks you perform, including those in ROI+.
NEW SOLUTION:
Until Microsoft addresses the issue at hand, those ROI+ clients who are affected by the problem can do one of the following two things to alleviate performance issues:
1) Use a different internet browser, such as Firefox.
2) Use Adobe Acrobat Reader 11, rather than Adobe Acrobat DC.
Note: We recommend that you uninstall Adobe Acrobat DC before installing Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.
